Golden Milk Recipe: Creamy & Dairy-Free Turmeric Latte for Wellness


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plant-based milk (almond, coconut, oat, or cashew milk)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder (or fresh grated turmeric)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp fresh grated ginger (or ground ginger)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (enhances turmeric absorption)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for a richer texture)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Ingredients – In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the plant-based milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and coconut oil (if using). Stir well.
  2. Simmer and Infuse – Let the mixture simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to blend the flavors. Do not boil.
  3. Sweeten & Flavor – Remove from heat and stir in honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract if using.
  4. Blend for Extra Creaminess – For a frothy texture, blend the mixture using a handheld frother or blender.
  5. Serve & Enjoy – Pour into a mug and enjoy warm. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
