Lemon Balm Recipe: Refreshing & Calming Herbal Drink for Wellness


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh lemon balm leaves (or 1/2 cup dried leaves)
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp honey or sweetener of choice
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger (optional)
  • Ice cubes (if serving cold)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Lemon Balm – Rinse the fresh lemon balm leaves thoroughly and gently pat them dry.
  2. Boil the Water – In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat.
  3. Steep the Leaves – Add the lemon balm leaves to the hot water, cover, and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Strain and Sweeten – Strain the tea into a cup or pitcher. Stir in honey, fresh lemon juice, and grated ginger if using.
  5. Serve and Enjoy – Serve warm or over ice for a refreshing cold drink. Garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
